Ultimately, you decide to head over to Stella's room. Her toys were clearly physical things rather than pictures of something, and they mostly depicted things that were living, so there was probably a better chance of this actually working. Leaving your room, you head over towards Stella's room, which you thankfully find the door of open. Stella was inside, playing with some of her toys, but it wasn't her you were interested in. Before she can look up and see you, you press the button on the remote, freezing time, and giving you plenty of time to look around for what to swap with.
Your first thought is to simply swap with what Stella was currently playing with; her Barbie doll. She seemed to be playing "horses" or something, as her Barbie was dressed in overalls instead of one of her more fashionable outfits, and a horse doll was nearby for her to ride. Barbie was the most human toy you could currently see from where you were standing, so if you wanted something mostly normal (well, as normal as you could get using a reality altering remote on a toy), that was probably the best choice to go with.
Alternatively, the horse doll was right there as well. That would sort of be like swapping with an animal, like you were considering doing with the dog outside, only this one was in a more controlled environment (and made of plastic, though it wasn't like you'd be able to find a real horse to swap with any time soon anyway). You could try out some animal parts for a bit, even if they weren't exactly real.
That was just what Stella was currently playing with though. Looking further into her room, you spot a plush bear sitting on her bed. Stella had been sleeping with that thing for as long as you could remember. It was less of an animal (or at least less anatomically accurate) than the horse doll, but it was a good alternative if you didn't want to swap with something plastic. It could make things a little awkward at Stella's bedtime though.
There weren't just human and animal toys in Stella's room though. Since Stella was currently playing with her Barbie doll, your eyes are caught by the dollhouse that Stella normally kept it in. That was less of a toy itself and more of something to put the toys in, but perhaps the remote would still allow it. You had no idea how that would work, but for some reason the idea of swapping with something completely inhuman was a little exciting, if a little daunting.
