When a bunch of holographic screens appeared in front of you, you naturally assumed that it had worked. However, as you would soon discover, it didn't work quite how you had intended.
One of the screens showed your own body. You had a pretty good idea that this would show you a preview of sorts, of what would happen after any eventual swaps were selected.
Speaking of which; the second screen showed quite an extensive list of possible swaps that you could make.
It was when you got to the third screen, that you recieved a bit of a shock; for instead of showing Princess Peach, it quite clearly showed your television instead!
You were a little bummed that the remote appearently couldn't select characters on a tv screen, but since the list of swaps was right there in front of you, it seemed like a big waste not to try it out anyway.
You were a bit apprehensive, though. Most of the options made sense if you were to swap with something that was alive, but you were about to swap something with your own television! How would that even turn out?
If you were to select 'Body Swap', what would happen? Would your mind be sent into the tv, while your own body would remain motionless until someone were to 'turn it on' with the tv-remote and then be able to control your human body with it?
What might happen if you were to choose 'Life Swap'? Would you end up taking the place of your tv (perhaps with a screen somewhere on your body), while the tv might get some kind of mechanical humanoid body with the screen in place of a head, allowing it to live your life?
The 'Clothes Swap' option sounded even stranger. Obviously, you would end up naked, but would that mean that you'd have put clothes on your television every day, perhaps even having to change them depending on any number of things?
There were many such options on the list and for a brief moment, you were almost tempted to cancel the selection.
But, it didn't last long. The thought of swapping something with your television was simply much too interesting.
