Bruce knew he had only one shot with this. Whatever Candi had made herself into was stronger and faster than he was. Hell, if the past few minutes were anything to go by, she was way smarter than he was. If he couldn't open up the computer and pop off that command he had seen, she'd be on him, and he didn't want to know what would happen when the silicone blob-goddess that was his wife got angry. He took a deep breath, wrapped his hands around the laptop, rolled over, and opened it.
"NO!" shouted Candi from behind him, fear and rage turning her voice into a banshee's wail. He moved the cursor over to the wire-frame window under the command line. He felt Candi's flesh begin to seize on his arms just as he clicked the mousepad. "N--"
Bruce pressed down on the "pause" button, and in an instead, the soft, warm flesh of the creature that may have wanted to tear him limb from limb stopped. Bruce sighed in relief. He pulled his arms out of the jiggling restraints that had closed in him, the hybrid of silicone, magic and skin giving way like water. He stood up and stared down at his wife. Her face looked like that of a mad queen as the guillotine blade descended towards her neck. The frozen form of a roiling torrent of flesh stretched from her back, leaving her looking like she was swimming through her own body to get to him. Behind that, a placid monolith of Candi's mass filled the room. He picked up the computer and retreated to the opposite side of the room. He sat down and stared blankly at Candice's--Candi didn't really fit the raging lust-demon frozen on the floor before him-- form. He needed to fix this. But how?
