When Pam said she'd take you somewhere exciting, you expected, like, laser tag, not... this.
Above the front door, the neon green and red letters say "Place of Laughter". When you step inside, there's a huge painting, that both answers some questions about the place, and creates others. The painting is about an attractive young woman. Her face is definitely a clown: makeup, nose, wig, everything. Her shirt is big and colorful, sure; it's also open, her arms above her head, and a similarly dressed girl is standing in front of her, one hand on each armpit. They're both wearing impossibly short mini skirts, and nothing on their feet. Two more clown girls are lying under her, one at each foot, and seem to be caressing them with feathers. The girl's face is painted very vividly; you can practically hear her laughter.
"Well," Pam says, "that's not exactly what I expected."
"Yeah... Do you have any other plans?" you ask.
"I mean... we could catch a movie. But if we're already here... might as well see what you can do."
You can't argue with that, so you take a look at the brochure. Apparently, the offer several activities.
Right Back At Ya! Clowns make all of us laugh, but have you ever tried making one laugh yourself? Now you have the chance! Her laughter is a music to the ear, but you might have to work hard to get it out of her!
Escape the Circus. It's easy: we lock you in a room, you have to get out. Beware: it won't be easy. But, if you manage to put together the clues, you might just make it. Expect puzzles, mischief, tomfoolery, hidden traps, and a smile on your faces that won't ever disappear!
The Great Friendship Test. They say it's our friends that we can laugh together with the loudest - but is that person truly your friend? If you think the answer is yes, you might want to put it to the test. We don't guarantee either of you will have a good time with this one, and you might end up losing a friend - but, if you don't, the friendship will be that much stronger for it.
Warning: this one is not for the faint of heart.
You take a few minutes with Pam to debate what to do. Ultimately, you decide to stay, and try out...
