Today was yet again, another beautiful day in New York, New York. Chun Li went all over the world, basically her version of a vacation. A relaxing get away from her usual everyday life of fighting criminals, day in and day out. She loved what she did, the lives she's saved and the people she'd helped but even she needed some time to breathe. Everyday Chun Li would take a stroll in the afternoon, it didn't matter where she was currently and this day was no different. She would wear her cop uniform but would make sure it didn't yell "On duty", it was very casual and not to be confused as a typical NYPD officer. It was 12:45 P.M and she was taking her daily walk, taking in the hustle and bustle of New York City. People being loud on the streets was common but what Chun Li heard somewhere in the distance wasn't some young man yelling at traffic. It was a woman, a woman dressed up in what easily separated her from anyone else that was around her. It was her old rival... Juri Han.
"Hey kid, didn't your mommy ever tell you sharing is caring?" Juri asked the child. The child being about 12, maybe 13 years of age.
"B-But that's is my lunch! My Mom gave me a $5 to pick out something!" The little boy pleaded.
"Beat it kid, until I turn you outside down by your foot and take the change too." Juri said holding a hotdog in her hands.
"Juri!" Chun Li interrupted Juri's bullying, getting her attention.
"Oh lookie, it's... umm." Juri played dumb.
"What are you doing? Why are you in New York of all places?" Chun Li asked stone faced, not playing Juri's games.
"Getting ready to eat lunch, until you rudely interrupted."
"Speaking of rude..."
Chun Li approached the child and took a knee "Did that woman take your hot dog?"
"Mmhmm" The child replied on the verge of tears.
"First you ruthlessly attack the dolls as well as countless other crimes I don't even know about... and now you've resorted to taking food from children?"
"Hey, a girls gotta eat. Does this sexy fit look like it can fit a wallet?" Juri slid her hand seductively down her hip to her thigh. Years ago she wore a type of Taekwondo outfit but has now sported a skintight biker kind of outfit.
"Juri... give that little boy his food back." Chun Li demanded, still stonefaced.
"What? This hotdog?" Juri took a big bite consuming half of the frank. Chun Li's open palm forming a fist.
"Uggh, $2.50 for this crap. Good thing I didn't pay." Juri said as she tossed the other half onto the ground.
Now, the little boy was really crying.
Chun Li again confronting him "Shhh, don't cry. Don't worry I'll get you another one later, okay?"
If there was one thing that bothered Chun Li it was children being hurt, whether it was physical or through childish bullying, she wouldn't allow it. Juri knew she wouldn't allow it as well. She always the type to push people's buttons. But on vacation, a get away from this sort of action, a kid crying in front of her. Chun Li wasn't going to indulge Juri's behavior with a simple bout this time. Doing what she did to that kid was the ultimate slap in the face and right now... Chun Li wasn't in the mood for a smack of any kind.
Chun Li stuck a fighting pose in the direction of Juri "Awww, are you going to cry next, thunder thighs?"
Chun Li quickly went forward with her signature Hyakuretsukyaku. Juri dodged backwards avoiding her kicks... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
