This place is kept very, very sterile and clean in here. Alphys doesn't want like, a crumb ending up in some beaker and ruining months of work. So of course, theirs not actually all that many opportunity's for you to get food. Your only real option is to sneak into the break room and steal food from the snack cabinet. Since the Breakroom also is where the TV is, and where Alphys tends to spend most of her time, even usually sleeping in there while she watches old media that seemed to have been made by humans before the monsters returned. Anyway her being in there so often meant you usually have about an hour window to get food. That may sound like a lot but at your size...its not. It takes almost that long to climb the counters.
