"Morgan...wake uuup!" A voice was heard, in slight sing-song. Whoever it was was in a good mood. Before we go any further, let me explain this...odd situation. In this room lay a little boy. No, really, a LITTLE boy. He was only about an inch or two tall, and slept in a bed faaaaaaar tinier than any of us ever thought possible. This child's name was Morgan. He was only about seven or eight years old, and was a cheerful and bright boy. The voice calling to him was his mother, Severa. She was a woman of average height and build. She had scarlet red hair and slightly larger than average sized breasts. She also had MAJOR self-esteem issues, and she was prone to going on angry rants and being short of patience with people. Deep down however, she was a caring loving soul, that just needed to open herself up to you to consider you a true friend. But to Morgan, she was his loving mother.
"Morgan. Wake up." The voice said, slightly sterner this time. Severa was rocking Morgan's bed to wake him up, but he was still fast asleep. Severa's face had an expression of annoyance on it, Morgan's sleepiness getting on her nerves. Her patience already hit it's end, and the day hadn't even started.
"MORGAN!" She said, slamming the table next to the bed. The resulting mini-earthquake on the table caused Morgan to snap awake in terror.
"Waaah!" He exclaimed, falling out of his bed. His covers fell onto him, and he couldn't see.anything. Severa smirked as she saw her son fall, but quickly regretted her actions. She helped Morgan up as she giggled.
"Sorry about that Morgan. You weren't waking up." She said bluntly, but with a smile of affection on her face.
"It's okay Mother. Just...wasn't expecting that." He said, getting up and dusting off his pajamas. "Err...wait. Why did you wake me up? You usually don't wake me up this early." He said, curious. Severa's face glistened.
"I wanted to spend the day with you Morgan. It's not like we get to spend much time anymore. You better be grateful!" She said, her defensive wall of an attitude showing to even her son. Morgan knew not to take her seriously.
"I am, I am. Just let me get dressed and we can spend the day together!" Morgan said happily. Severa smiled sweetly, something rare for her, as she simply nodded and sat down in a chair meant for her or Robin. Oh right! Robin! He was the gifted tactician for the Shepherds, and has an intellect unlike any other. He and Severa had often gotten into "arguments", which is mostly Severa screaming at Robin because she felt inadequate next to his admittedly superior intellect. Severa wasn't stupid in any way. In fact she was quite intelligent, much like her mother Cordelia; However her hot-tempered nature and lack of patience caused her to get frustrated rather quickly, clouding her mind.
Morgan got out of his pajamas and into his casual clothes. He had a mini tactician's outfit much like his fathers, but he felt like he didn't really need it. He brushed his teeth with a small brush and a puddle of water, and presented himself to his mother.
"Ready mom! Let's go!" He exclaimed, jumping into the air.
"Ugh...finally! Took ya long enough." She said sarcastically, before smiling, revealing a bit of playfulness. She walked over to the table and knelt down. She pat Morgan on the head and giggled.
"What do you wanna do?" Morgan asked, excited.
