A little date with business woman

"Well, actually there's something I need to do before getting back to the house I'm staying at." Chris said.

"Really? And what is it?" Breezelda asked.

Chris took a deep breath.

"The thing is - I detected some odd signal coming from your studio. It seems like someone sneaked in and left a device that sends it."

Breezelda raised an eyebrow. "Hm? Is that true? Could you, please, prove it to me, Mr. Thorndyke?"

Chris nodded. Breezelda gave an order to her driver and the car drove off. In 30 minutes, it stopped close to Breezelda's studio.

"So, is there any proof that this 'odd signal' you're talking about really is coming from my studio?" Breezelda asked, watching as Chris took his detector.

The screen activated, showing the building and two signals coming from it.

"Huh? Why are there two signals?" Breezelda asked in confusion. "It's always been only one."

"See, Ms. Breezelda? This signal sends some message. I'm not sure what is the message, but I think it's better to find the source and stop it. So, I'd like to ask you something. May I, please, search your studio to find the source of that odd signal?"

Breezelda looked down held a finger on her chin, thinking about something. She kept that position for half a minute. Then, she turned to Chris with a sly smile.

"Well, Mr. Thorndyke, I can give you permission to search my studio."

"Oh, that's great, I-"

"If you go on a date with me first."

"Huh? What?"

"You heard me." Breezelda moved closer and stroked Chris' cheek. "I'd like to get to know you better. So, here's my condition - go on a date with me, and after the date I'll allow you to search my studio."

Chris had a feeling that Breezelda was under signal's effect too. Her look made it clear she wouldn't accept any other conditions. So he decided to go along with it.

"Alright, Ms. Breezelda. I'll go on a date with you."

Breezelda smiled brightly. "I'm very glad to hear that, Mr. Thorndyke. Paul, take us to the restaurant. The one I like spending time in."

Chris looked ahead, trying not to focus on Breezelda, who sat next to him so close that he could even feel her breathing.

When they arrived at the restaurant building, Chris' eyes widened at what he saw. The building was huge, consisting of three floors or more. Through the glass doors Chris could see how well everything was lit inside. Once they entered, the boy's mouth opened wide.

The room was very huge. The floor was laid with polished ceramic tiles. There were tables, chairs and counters, but besides them, Chris could see the doors that led to some other big rooms.

Breezelda put her hand on his shoulder. "Let's go, Mr. Thorndyke. Our table is waiting for us."

Surprisingly, Chris couldn't see any other Moebians besides Breezelda and some workers in this place. Breezelda explained that she always reserves this place just for herself whenever she comes here to eat and relax.

They sat at the table and waited. Soon, the waiter walked up to them and gave them a menu. Even if he was surprised by a fact that the Breezelda was with someone who hid himself under monk robe, he kept that to himself. Chris and Breezelda made orders and waiter left.

"So, Mr. Thorndyke, how did your meeting with mayor Anti-Lanolin go?" Breezelda asked.

"I thought her name was Lillian." Chris said.

Breezelda giggled. The waiter brought her a glass of wine and she took it. "Yeah, this is her current name. She was just having name Anti-Lanolin before. I'm still getting used to her new name."

"Speaking of which." Chris scratched his head while Breezelda started drinking. "I see that some inhabitants of this planet have 'Anti' as first parts of their names and some of them don't. How is this working? Why does this 'Anti' thing even exist?"

Breezelda finished her glass and ordered another one. She turned to Chris and smiled at him.

"Why is the alphabet in the order that it is? Why are the numbers named the way they are? Why are some syllables silent and others aren't? Why do some pronounce the P in Pterodactyl and some don't? It's just how it is at the moment. It can and will change in the future. It might even return back to how it currently is as time goes on." Breezelda answered. Her head and body were shaking slightly.

"Huh? Did she drink some very strong wine? It was only one glass." Chris thought. As for the answer, he felt it was more like of a fancy non-answer than anything else, but he decided not to question it.

"But we went off-topic, cutie." Breezelda said with a flirtatious smile. "I asked how your meeting with mayor went. Come on, give me an answer."

"Oh, it went okay. Two female guards named Tess and Wilma searched me and brought me to mayor's office. Mayor Lillian is nice and well-working. She explained everything that I needed to do to get my own document. They made my photo, I also was fingerprinted and went through some other formal stuff."

"So after tomorrow you'll become a person with rights here. And will no longer have to hide under a monk robe. That sounds pretty good." Breezelda said. She smirked. "I'm pretty sure you'll be getting attention from passers-by, especially after the interview we organized."

"I guess so." Chris said, looking down at the table.

Soon, their dishes were brought. As they ate, they continued talking, mentioning the topic of interview and bringing up some details from their past.

"Don't tell anyone, sweetie. Hic." Breezelda said after the 5th glass of wine. "Mayor and her guards don't like bringing up this topic, but... all three of them were dating Anti-Sonic before getting their current jobs."

"What? They really were?" Chris said in surprise.

"Oh yeah. At some point, Anti-Sonic stopped even visiting them, focusing on other girls and women, but he still calls Lillian, Wilma and Tess 'his girls'."

Chris remembered the moments he spent on Suppression Squad's base. "I wonder how Fiona, Buns and Alicia are doing right now. Sounds crazy, but I feel like building a drone and sending it to their base to check up on them. I hope they're fine."

"Was he trying to date you too?" the question slipped out of Chris' mouth.

Breezelda took a sip. "No, as far as I know, Anti-Sonic is not really into 'fancy girls'. I heard that someone asked him what he thinks about me, and he said I'm too fancy for him to date. And also not very pretty."

Chris frowned. "That isn't good statement to make. I think you look beautiful."

Breezelda looked at him and smirked. "Why thank you, handsome~. Say, why don't we try some other activities here?"

"Activities?"

"You'll see." Breezelda winked at him.

"Wow, their service is great!"

Chris admitted that as they entered another room. Turned out this place had some entertainments. He and Breezelda went through some spa procedures, like facial peeling, mud bath, solarium and a few more.

"Let's do just one more thing and then we can get back to my studio." Breezelda said, shaking a bit as she walked.

"Is she drunk? If so, I gotta make sure nothing happens to her." Chris thought, feeling concerned about her.

A few minutes later...

"Let's go in, cutie. One more room is waiting for us. To be honest, I was worried it would never come in handy." Breezelda said as she and Chris stopped near one more door.

"Okay." Chris nodded, wondering what is in the room as the door opened.

It was dark in there. But as they entered, Breezelda turned on the light.

"Huh?"

To Chris' surprise, the room was all in pink colors. It only had a table and the couch. The couch was having forms of heart, and the tablecloth was having pictures of hearts all over it. The disco ball was spreading the light in small circles all around the room.

"Wait, what is this-" Chris began, turning to Breezelda, only to see her apply a lipstick.

She smiled and puckered her lips. "Welcome to the Smooching room~."

"Uuuuh, actually I think I-"

Breezelda jumped on Chris, knocking him off his feet and causing him to fall on the couch. She planted a very deep kiss on his cheek, letting out the 'Mmmmm~' sound. Chris tried to push her away, but Breezelda wrapped her arms around him and started actively smooching his face while remaining on top of him, which was ruining his concentration.

"W-What are you-"

"Mmmmm, your skin is so soft. Feels good to my lips. Relax and let me give you more smooches, handsome. I know you like them~." Breezelda cooed before continuing to smooch Chris.

===

15 minutes later, Chris and Breezelda left the restaurant and went to the car. Breezelda was still shaking a bit, while Chris had a lipstick marks all over his face.

"That was... hic... a great first date for me, Mr. Thorndyke." Breezelda admitted with a smile as she and Chris got in the car. "Did you enjoy it too~?"

"Y-Y-Yeah." Chris said with an awkward smile as he wiped the lipstick off his face.

"Alright then. Hic. Paul, get us to my studio." Breezelda said. The driver nodded and the car drove off.

===

"Let's see." Chris said, holding a detector as he walked through the studio.

The signal was getting stronger on detector when Chris walked in the right direction and weaker when he wlked in the wrong one. This helped him find the right path that brought him to the room with TV tower. The signal was coming right from its top.

"Well, I guess it's time to climb." Chris said to himself.

The task wasn't easy one, but the boy was well trained back at home. Thanks to his skills, he managed to climb on top of the TV tower. There, he found a metallic box with antenna on top of it.

"Huh, so this is the device. Well, let's just do this." Chris said before pushing the box off the top. The box fell from the big height and broke down on pieces. "Phew, that was easy."

Soon, Chris returned to Breezelda, holding a detector and pieces of box with him.

"I dealt with the source. Thank you for letting me in. It was very nice to have a date with you. Now, I think I should go home." he said with a smile.
