"Alright... Blake! You're always so quiet yet so feisty. I can't wait to see what you pick" Yang answered excitedly.
"Really? I always thought Blake was quite reserved," Weiss commented. "Though considering her reading material, I can understand why you think it'll get... 'feisty'."
Blake cringed at her teammates conversation. It wasn't that they were completely wrong or anything, but it was clear that going first would set certain expectations, for her and for how this game would play out.
There was also the fact that Weiss had shown her hand early, so Yang would definitely pick on the ice queen so long as Blake doesn't catch her attention first... though watching the two go at each other could be fun in its own right.
If she did interfere, she'd prefer swapping with Yang. She was her partner after all, and they had grown incredibly close since the dance... She did have something 'feisty' in mind anyway.
Of course, Weiss had started it, so maybe defrosting the ice queen was the better option. Though the best way to do that would to give Weiss some of her physical traits. That way, even if she steals from Yang, her partner would just end up with Blake's attributes. She had, at least jokingly, christened Blake's rear as the 'Bellabooty'. Surely that meant it wouldn't be that much of a downgrade for the blonde bombshell. Unfortunately that also meant Blake would have to waste a turn stealing from Weiss, undoubtedly the daintiest of the group.
And then there was Ruby. The safe pick. She could easily swap anything with the girl, nobody would care, and Blake could sit back and enjoy Weiss and Yang literally tear each other part. Who knows, maybe if she keeps it civil with Ruby, the young girl will be just as cordial in the long run.
"Should we have put a time frame for picking? I just realized I forgot about that part." Ruby brought up.
"No, it's fine. I've already figured it out." Blake stated, maintaining a cool exterior.
