I am to lead the Koopa Kingdom and cause as much chaos for everyone else, while also working to free King Koopa."
"So why me, Toadstool-2?" You asked, referencing the second Belome fight in Super Mario RPG.
"Cute, we're at the nickname stage already. You are in a relationship with the real Princess. So I will make you mine," Toadstool-2 answered.
"Your plan would work better, if you had never told me it," You replied.
You'd be lying if you claimed you didn't love the look of disbelief and shock on Toadstool-2's face.
"Besides, The princess sitting on my face and me going to rescue her does not equal a relationship. You're jumping the gun on so many fronts, it isn't funny," You said.
"I hold the cards here! Not you!" Toadstool-2 loudly declared as she stood up and walked over to you. "You will help me ruin the real Toadstool's life and help free King Koopa!"
"Why?" You asked, barely phased by Toadstool-2's anger.
"Because I said so!" Toadstool-2 growled.
"Since you're as lovely as Toadstool, I'll explain why you're going down the wrong path," You began. "If you free King Koopa, he'll toss you aside and take credit. Maybe he'll even destroy you with something. There's no point in allying with him."
Toadstool-2's anger seemed quickly fade as she took in your words.
"Then there's ruining Toadstool's life. Let's say you do that and then try to step in her shoes. What's preventing the Mushroom Kingdom people from thinking you're Toadstool in slightly different clothes? Your quest to ruin Toadstool's life will ruin your own, as people do judge by appearances," You continued.
"I see..." Toadstool-2 muttered, clearly deep in thought.
"So... I suggest freeing me and we go-" You said before getting interrupted by Toadstool-2 laughing.
"I have heard your words and will not free King Koopa. Instead," Toadstool-2 cackled. "I will rule both the Koopa Kingdom and the Mushroom Kingdom!"
"Oh crap. I should've seen that coming," You muttered. "So what are you going to do with me?"
Toadstool-2 smiled at you as she fluttered her eyes for a few moments. She said, "As for you, You will..."   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
