Enter the Survival Horror...

At what point in time will the story start in?

Mansion Incident: At this point in time, Umbrella's darker actions are completely unknown to anyone outside of the company or in certain governments. S.T.A.R.S. will have it's first encounter with both the T-Virus and the V-Virus during this time.

Raccoon City: Despite the best efforts of the remaining members of S.T.A.R.S., their hometown is unprepared and is caught off guard when an outbreak happens. Both the T and V viruses have been released into the city, and even the G-Virus has experienced a minor outbreak.

Fall of Umbrella: The Umbrella Corporation is on the decline after Raccoon City's destruction. However, the public is still relatively unaware of the various viruses at play, although rumors are starting to get out. Criminal and terrorist elements are attempting to get their hands on the viruses for their own ends, and new viruses are in development.

Global Bio-Terrorism: Bio-terrorism is now one of the greatest threats facing the world. Numerous viruses, old and new, are being used in attacks around the globe. Even though Umbrella is finished, their legacy lives on...

Other: Anything that doesn't fit into the above categories; various side-games, spin-offs, etc. go here. Any crossovers, such as Marvel vs Capcom, can also go here.

As an added note; while I'm assuming that the events unfold similarly to how canon is with things like Raccoon City being destroyed, with the perverted bent that this interactive has such things don't necessarily need to happen. For example, if the V-Virus has a high rate of increasing the intellect of those infected with it, to the point that most zombies retain their humanity (with added voraciousness/height/shrinking/etc. of course) then it may have been quarantined instead.
