This choice: Barbara stared at her curves, what was going on? • Go Back...Chapter #10A Quick Realization by: Unknown For her entire life, Barbara hadn't had much of a figure. She sometimes joked to herself that the "figure fairy" hadn't noticed her. Barbara hadn't minded much, since being a clown didn't exactly require being curvy. Even going into her 20's, Barbara stayed figureless.
So, it was obviously a bit surprising to Barbara to see a pair of breasts on her now.
Right now, with her rather baggy clown clothes, her new assets weren't noticeable, but Barbara still knew they were there. Confused, she placed her hands on her hips... only to discover her hips felt a little wider.
'OK, this is bizarre.' Barbara thought. 'How'd I go from flat as a pancake to the tiniest bit curvy? I wasn't like this an hour ago. Wait... I had that weird feeling when...'
Now a little intrigued, Barbara raised her hands to feel her new clown nose. '...when I honked Violet.'
Deciding on a little test, Barbara honked her clown nose again.
HONK!
Instantly, the odd feeling of change came back. It lasted only for a brief moment, but Barbara still felt it. Barbara looked down at her chest again. Now she could see it was a little bigger. It was now slightly noticeable in her baggy outfit.
'OK, so I got a little curvier when I honked my nose. That is... bizarre. WAIT! That's it! Maybe I can work this into my new act!' Barbara thought happily. 'I'll have to test it out more later.'
The cries from the festival goers pulled Barbara out of her thoughts, and she decided to go back to make people laugh more.

A couple of hours later, Barbara returned to the Cobalt Theater. A couple of her family members had complimented her on her new clown nose.
Barbara entered her trailer. Looking in the mirror, she smiled.
"Well, Barbara, you found something new for your act. How and why my nose made me curvy, I don't know, and right now I don't care." Barbara said to herself. "If this new act works, clowns will be respected again. Should probably put Violet away for now."
Barbara reached up to pull her clown nose off, and...  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
