“I know, right?” Said Amy as she replied to Layla’s comment on her white feather. “And even more, it’s an awesome tool to tickle and to make people laugh.” With a smug smirk, Amy gave Layla’s neck a quick stroke with the feather, making the girl flinch and giggle.
“Ok, everybody. Chop-chop, start cleaning the room!” The babysitter clapped, signaling the kids to begin the activities.
With a slight tingle on their skin, knowing they’d face impending tickles in any second now, the three kids began to tidy up the room.
Amy noticed that, while Layla was the one with the biggest smile of giddiness, knowing she was about to engage in one of her favorite activities, there were slight smirks of amusement fighting their ways to Alex’s and Erin’s mouths as well.
After what was probably less than a minute, the word “Mannequin!” echoed through the room traveling on Amy’s voice.
The three kids froze in place with a small gasp, that the babysitter wasn’t quite able to notice from which of them it came from.
With a huge mischievous smile on her face, Amy walked around the room like a wolf around its prey. Her eyes scanned all of the static bodies around her, inspecting with her sight every nook and cranny that could be a proper target for her tickles.
“Hmmmmmmm… who to start with, kids? Who to start with?” Amy said, her words dripping with teasiness as her slow steps walked among the kids. With each sound of the babysitter’s steps, the kids felt a little shiver running on their skins.
