One afternoon, Nadia was in the twins' bedroom, looking after them while Milton was teaching Albert how to tie his shoes, Aida was changing a light bulb, and Mike was outside on his skateboard.

The twins had a bedroom facing the window on the second floor of the McKensies' three-story house that had pink-painted walls and curtains with the letters of the alphabet written on.

On the floor sat a changing table, a rug shaped like a frog, a toy box, a little chest of drawers were the twins' clothes were kept, a chair, and their cribs, which looked identical except each one had its owner's name on it.

Nadia was playing with the twins for a bit before their nap.
She dug in the toy box for a toy they might like, when she saw a toy she'd never seen before!
