"ETHAN? ARE YOU....GONE?" Jacqueline's voice booms from above. Can she not see you? No, she just needs to look harder!
"Jacqueline, I'm here! You shrunk me!" You scream as loud as you can, jumping and waving frantically, desperate for her to notice you. But your worst fears were realised when...
"I THINK...I MAY HAVE KILLED HIM..." Jacqueline's voice quivers with worry. She didn't expect this thing to vaporise her own brother! With a dejected look on her face, she stops coming the carpet, and stands back up to her full imposing height.
"No!" You scream. If she leaves you now, you'll be left alone! And there's no way she'll tell anyone what happened, so you'll be abandoned as a speck in your own house! And to make things even worse, you can't fix it as the remote is still gripped in Jacqueline's hand! You need her to see you!
"I'm here! Look! JACQUELINE!!" but your fearful screams don't even past the tops of her toes.
Above, Jacqueline investigates the remote again. "WHY WOULD HE HAVE SOMETHING LIKE THIS? AND IN MOM'S ROOM TOO?
She gasps "HE WASN'T GOING TO KILL MOM FOR MONEY WAS HE? I CAN'T BELIEVE HIM!" With each word your hope fades, as Jacqueline sounds less sorrowful by the second. You might truly be stuck like this for the rest of your now tiny life!
"WELL, I GUESS HE WON'T BE ABLE TO TRY THIS EVER AGAIN. She looks to the remote "AND YOU, I NEED TO DISPOSE OF BEFORE THIS HAPPENS AGAIN!" And with that, Jacqueline turns and begins to walk back to what you assume is her bedroom, each step causing a titanic *BOOM!* that didn't fade even as the distance widened.
"NO!" You scream for what feels like the tenth time in the last five minutes. If she disposes of the remote, than even if you can get her attention, there'd be no way to undo this! You need to chase after her, but the trip will take hours at your pathetic scale! You need to think of something fast, you're in a race against time, stuck at a microscopic size in front of your mom's bedroom!
