As you scrambled to apologize and turned around, you found yourself face to face with a blue skinned muscular man with long hair and a full beard also tied into a ponytail.
The man was wearing white pantaloons, and a red vest. His eyes lit up upon looking at you.
"Jack, is that you? Boy am I glad to see you, son."
You blinked and looked over the strange man. His voice was vaguely familiar and could be that of your father. Yet the last time you saw your father he was just tall and lanky.
Before you was a tall and buff blue man. You begin to question the man further until he spoke up.
"I know I look different. The thing is I've become a genie," your dad said.
You looked at the man who called himself your father curiously. "If you're really Brad Richmond then what's my favorite Christmas present that I got nine years ago."
"You mean Skipper. Such a sweet dog. Your eyes lit up with joy when we picked him up from your grandma's," your father said.
Your eyes widened as the man told you your favorite Christmas present. Before you was your father.
"What happened to you?" You asked.
Your father chuckled nervously. "I got caught in a magical accident five years ago. I was inspecting a lamp one moment and the next moment I got sucked inside the lamp. Not to mention I had amnesia for three years."
"You were sucked into a genie's lamp and had amnesia for three years?"
Your father nodded his head. "That's right. Also, when someone becomes a genie they are assigned a new name. I've been going by Soltarus for the past five years. Now what do you wish for."
"Wish?" You asked.
"As a genie and employee of this shop I'm supposed to offer wishes starting at five dollars per wish," your father said. "However, you could buy my lamp for thirty dollars and take me home. So what will it be?
You take some time to think it over. You could pay five bucks and have your now genie father grant one wish or you could buy his lamp and take your father back home.
