Hat Kids mind had been changed to make her thin...

She suddenly recognized the place, it looked like... Home? She was utterly confused at first, as it didn't look anything like her home, but the more she snuggled into the warm, comforting blankets, and the environment of the room felt cozier, she smiled and was totally convinced this was her house. But not just any house, her Aunt Vanessa's house!

Now Vanessa wasn't actually Hat Kid's aunt, obviously. This wasn't her home, either. However, upon seeing Hat Kid for the first time, Vanessa knew she didn't want to eternally freeze this one. In all her years she had never seen a child try to invade her home, and now that one had foolishly stumbled upon her abode, she was finally able to have the one thing she's always wanted; A child.
So, Vanessa decided to use a bit of her magic to trick Hat Kid into believing that she was Vanessa's niece, and this was her home. This way, she could keep Hat Kid for as long as possible.

Hat Kid felt her stomach rumble, and decided she should get out of bed to get some breakfast. If there was one thing that Hat Kid knew, it was that Aunt Vanessa always made the best food. Upon getting out of bed, she realized she was in a button-up blue shirt and pajama pants with time pieces on it. Her trademarked hat was still on her head, as well!
Without further delay, she ran across the cold, wooden floor and made her way down to the kitchen, where she found...
