Well we would have to go back in time to the beginning of Issei’s first year at Kuoh Academy.
Ah screw that. To make a long story short, Issei was the only guy that thought Sona was beautiful, more beautiful, until he saw Rias and her huge melons. Sona always envied Rias for her popularity and having guys all around her and none for herself but she was not insensitive. She was in her prime but the only boy that even looked her way was Issei with a stupid grin on his face and it was that day that Sona developed a crush on him.
Personally, she wished Issei was apart of her peerage but instead she got an idiot by the name Saji who was trying to be a suck up, she wanted someone who was honest in her opinion not a kiss up. Sons knew she had to do something to get Issei so she decided to make a deal with Rias when they did their annual chess match.
