Nicole shot off a quick text to her best friends Bianca and Patricia. Several ideas were racing through her head, and all of them were revolving around the shrink ray. Nicole's phone went off and she smiled, seeing that both Bianca and Patricia were on their way.
About 15 minutes later, Nicole opened the door to the house and saw both Bianca and Patricia outside. They had rode their bikes over so she brought them into the garage.
"So what's so important that you made me get up early on a Saturday," Patricia teased her friend.
"Yeah it better be good," Bianca laughed.
"Oh trust me, it is," Nicole said, pulling the shrink ray out from behind her back. She held it out for a few seconds while neither of her friends said anything, they just stood their within confused looks on their faces.
"So....a fucking squirt gun?" Patricia asked starting to laugh.
"Actually its a shrink ray," Nicole said correcting her friend. "My dad invented it."
There was nothing but silence for a few seconds. Then both of her friends erupted in laughter. "You moron!" Patrica said to her friend.
"Yeah why don't you try shrinking us?" Bianca said sarcastically.
Nicole just shot a wicked smile. "If you say so," she said. She lifted up the shrink ray and shot them both, reducing them to 1 inch tall. "Who's the moron now?" Nicole laughed as she lifted her giant foot over her friends and hovered it there for a bit, causing them to beg and scream.
She lowered it even closer, enjoying the feeling of making her best friends freak out. She then sighed and lowered her foot to the side. After growing her friends back, she just looked at them with a smile. "So do you believe me now?"
"You jerk!" Bianca screamed, causing Nicole to just laugh.
"Hey you guys told me to do it! So how was it being shrunk?"
"It was actually kind of scary," Patricia said. "Like being in a horror movie."
These words gave Nicole a devious idea. Since the three of them were all horror movie fans, maybe they could use the shrink ray to their advantage. "Hey what if we made our own horror movie?" Nicole said.
The two other girls paused, obviously intrigued at the idea. "How would we do that?" Patricia said.
Nicole walked outside of her house while her friends followed. Seeing that nobody was around and a car she did not recognize was approaching, Nicole fired the shrink ray, reducing the car to a tiny inch long.
"Holy shit!" Bianca yelled, as the girls surrounded the tiny car. The man inside the car was screaming, with no idea as to what just happened.
"Watch this," Patricia said ominously. Lifting her fat right bare foot, she brought it down hard on top of the car with a sinister look on her face.
"Patricia, you just killed someone!" Bianca said nervously.
"No, she stepped on a bug," Nicole said, defending her friends actions. Nicole and Patricia were clearly more comfortable with this than Bianca was.
"So shall we start our horror film?" Nicole asked them.
The girls then proceeded to discuss how the film would go down. They planned to shrink random people, and have one of the girls, likely either Bianca or Patricia, as a monstrous goddess.
The plan was to have to people filming. Nicole wanted to film, as she had the shrink ray and it was her idea. She would use the camera at her normal size.
However, the three friends also wanted a ground perspective, almost like something out of Cloverfield. This would mean that Bianca or Patricia would have to shrink down and pretend to be frightened with the people who also shrunk, all while filming from their phone.
"Ok, who wants to be the monster and who wants to shrink?" Nicole asked.
