Ash tries to catch it

Having no Pokémon on him at the moment Ash grabs a pokéball from his belt and throws it at the unknown Pokémon the ball hits the Pokémon and opens up and sucked the Pokémon into the pokéball and once inside it wriggles once then twice then the unknown Pokémon violently escaped the pokéball.

Once the unknown pixel like thing popped out it started to charge up a hyperbeam and releases it at Ash which scared him and he was frozen in fear for a second.

What happened does ask wake up it was only a dream or does he barely dodge the hyperbeam and run?
