Helen Highwater couldn't help but gasp when she saw you. A tiny person wasn't something she saw every day even in her own line of work, and she'd seen her fair share of bizarre sights. Not wanting to startle you she gently knelt down to greet you.
"Hi there." She spoke gently.
"Hi. You nervously reply back.
You appreciated the woman's gently tone and the fact that she was doing everything in her power to not appear threatening. Unfortunately, the size gap between you made that next to impossible. It was hard not to feel nervous when standing in front of someone bigger than you.
The hero smiled. "I'm Elastigirl, and you are...?"
"Y/N. My name's Y/N." You just managed to answer.
Normally you weren't this nervous but again, the size difference made you somewhat wary. So far, Elastigirl had been gentle and didn't show any signs of wanting to do you any harm. This put you slightly at ease, but you wouldn't completely lower your guard just yet.
"It's nice to meet you, Y/N." She smiled. "You mind telling me how you got so small, unless you're a supe too."
You shook your head. "I don't think I'm a super. I was just an average guy until I woke up here tiny and fighting for my life."
Hearing that made the auburn-haired woman frown. So, you weren't a superhero. You were a normal civilian who found himself in a bad situation. It was more than likely that someone else out there did this to you for whatever reason.
"I'm sorry to hear that, Y/N." Helen said earnestly. "If you want, I can try to help you figure out a solution to your little problem."
Was she trying to make a joke? She must be. Leave it to a superhero to try and lighten the mood. A small smile tugged at your lips, and you replied, "Thanks I'd really appreciate some help."
That's what she was hoping you'd say. Elastigirl lowered her glove-clad hand towards you, and you carefully made your way atop it. Before you were cautious but now you felt a little more at ease around the larger woman.
Right as she stood back up, she could hear the sound of sirens and see the red and blue lights flickering in the distance. "Time to go."
"Wow." Was all you could say as you watched her body stretch like taffy. She was up and over on a nearby rooftop within seconds.
"Hang on tight." She warned you. You gripped her slender finger for near life as she cradled you close to her chest and took off running.
You didn't know where you were going but what you did know is that you felt safer with Elastigirl than you did all by your lonesome. She actually noticed you on the ground and didn't almost accidentally kill you. She was trying to help you like a real hero would.
You just hoped that she really could help you figure out what happened. Why were you so small and how on earth did you end up in the city? Those were the questions that were on your mind hopefully there were answers to be found.
