You said, “W-well, if you want to get stronger... I guess we can try battling other Digimon.”
“Great!” Meicoomon said. “I love fighting! Let’s explore and find some Digimon to beat up!”
The orange feline picked up the rest of the berries she’d dropped on the ground, then began walking along through the jungle while you sat on her furry head. She held a berry up to you, and you ate it, while she ate some others too. You were hungry, and ate more than one berry yourself, but Meicoomon ate even more than you.
When you were done, you said, “I’m still really confused by all this. The last thing I remember, I was at home. I have no idea how I got here, or why I’m so small. But I guess it isn’t so bad if I have a friendly Digimon like you to help me.”
Meicoomon laughed, and reached up to gently pet you on the head. “Aww, thanks! I’ll try to be the best Digimon you could ask for!“
“Right. And I’ll do my best to train you. So... how did you find me, anyway?”
Meicoomon stopped petting you, and said, “Well, I was just hanging out in the jungle when I saw a flash of light. I went over and saw a Digivice and a tiny human—you—lying there. You were sleeping, so I started exploring a bit to bring some food back for you, but you woke up before I got back. Anyway, cuz I found you, guess that means we’re destined to be partners.”
“And you have no idea why I’m so small, huh?”
“My best guess is you glitched somehow. Maybe your data got messed up when you came from the human world to the Digital World, so you’re smaller than you should be. But I’m not complaining! It’s so cool to have a tiny human for a friend!”
One of her paws suddenly reached up and grabbed you off her head. You were a bit surprised, but allowed her to pick you up. She brought you to her fluffy chest, holding you against it so you were partially buried in her dense white fur. You immediately sighed and relaxed as her soft, warm fur surrounded you. This was even nicer than riding on her head. Meicoomon heard your peaceful sigh and giggled, squeezing you a bit tighter as she kept walking, holding you in one paw and your Digivice in the other.
Eventually, the two of you finally found another Digimon, and prepared to fight...
