Dorothea loved this idea. She would get to tease you, and help Edelgard a little bit at the same time. She still wanted you to herself, but this was almost just as fun.
“Alright. Let me set the scene. It’s nighttime, and you’ve been dancing away at a ball. You, of course, are here to make sure you are in good standing with your political allies,” Dorothea improvised. Then she looked down at you, brown eyes piercing you.
“And you are a young noble Edelgard would do very well to bring over to her side. You’ve had a little bit to drink tonight, and might be more…open to her advancements.”
Dorothea was having fun dreaming up this scenario. She cupped you in her soft hands and placed you onto her dresser. Next, she turned to Edelgard, and motioned for her to walk beside her a few paces away. Finally, she glided into the middle of the room to continue setting the scene.
“You’ve decided the best way to bring this young noble to your side is to charm him. After all, brute force can only do so much of the convincing. You step forward, and start casting your feminine spell. For you Edelgard, I would try a more direct approach. I think you’d feel more natural and comfortable flirting that way.”
Edelgard looked at you, calculatingly. A thousand ideas rushed through her head of what to say, and all of them sounded beyond moronic to her. She had no idea how she was going to go about this, and wanted to buy some time. She scratched at the itchy collar of her uniform. This motion gave Dorothea an idea.
“Sorry, Edelgard; I was just thinking. We spar and practice in the same clothes that we are eventually going to fight in, right? Shouldn’t it be the same for an exercise like this?”
Edelgard blinked nervously. Dorothea was already pacing over to a large clothes chest before she could ask her question.
“I’m not sure I follow,” she said hesitantly, watching her friend bent-over rummaging around through the chest. When she pulled and unfolded a ruby-red dress, Edelgard became even more nervous.
“I’m fine in this Dorothea, I promise! Your dress wouldn’t fit me anyway!”
Edelgard was starting to panic, a feeling she hated. Why was it so easy to keep herself calm and composed on the battlefield, but trying to flirt with a one-inch-tall man with no stakes was flustering her so much. Dorothea turned around, throwing the dress to Edelgard. She caught it reflexively as her friend explained.
“That’s a dress specifically made for your measurements. I’ve got an emergency dress for each lady in the Black Eagles!”
Edelgard was starting to get more flustered, but was also impressed.
“How did you manage to get my measurements. I feel as though that’s not something easily done discreetly.”
Dorothea had to hold back a rude laugh. For someone who was so smart and tactical, Edelgard did not understand common people at all.
“Edelgard, I simply asked the keep tailor to make a dress on your behalf. You nobles all talk amongst yourselves, but you’d be surprised just how much you can do if you have a good relationship with the people who make the castle run. I’ve got a rapport with the tailor, the cooks, the servants. I’ve even joined the minstrels a time or to so that I can get on their good side. Now let me see you change into that dress so we can get started. Turn around mister tiny, I don’t think Edelgard is ready for you to see her slip that on yet.”
A tiny part of Dorothea hoped Edelgard would say it was okay, but of course she didn’t. You dutifully turned around, as the princess took off her clothes. Dorothea couldn’t help but ogle her friend. Years of training had done wonders for her body.
She slipped on the dress, while pondering what Dorothea had said. She had accomplished everything she had been force of will, and sheer strength, like an animal. As uncomfortable as this training was for her, she knew improving herself would pay off here. She was relieved to find that the dress was decently modest. It did expose a little bit of her cleavage, but nothing that would look out of place at a ball.
“Turn around little guy, and make your approach, Edie.”
Surprisingly, Edelgard felt more confident than she had before. It was like she had put on a suit of armor before heading out to the battlefield. She had only been to dances at Garreg Mach, but those required uniforms. As if a switch was flipped, she walked forward, more confident in herself.
She walked right up to you, hips swaying just a little, and when she approached the dresser you were standing on, she leaned on one elbow, looking at you with a slightly mischievous smile.
“I couldn’t help but notice you haven’t been dancing much tonight. Would you care for a dance with your princess?”
Dorothea was impressed. Edelgard’s inflection made it sound like a question, but nobody would refuse the princess. This more direct approach definitely seemed to fit her.
Shyly, you tell her, “I would love to, princess.”
And so, Edelgard scooped you up into her hand, and danced around the room as if you were a full-size noble. Her eyes looked at you with a tenderness that shocked you. Unfortunately, her initial burst of confidence was starting to fade, and you could tell she was struggling with what she wanted to say next. You tried to salvage the situation, and buy her some time.
“That’s a beautiful dress my princess.”
Edelgard looked down. It was a beautiful dress. The tailor had done a great job coming up with something to suit her. Unfortunately, the compliment brought her back to this strange situation, and she was beginning to feel nervous.
“Thank you. Um. Red is one of my favorite colors.”
Well, this is going south quickly, Dorothea thought to herself, but decided to watch this continue. Edelgard continued dancing across the room, although the movement was a lot less natural than before.
That last line didn’t really give you much to work with. You tried to think of something that Edelgard might do better.
“I see. I’m a little red already. The wine at this party is excellent, don’t you think milady?”
An awkward silence passes as Edelgard keeps up the façade of dancing. Nerves have completely taken over now.
“I, um… Yes, it’s quite go-AAH.”
Nervous and not paying attention to her feet, Edelgard tripped as one leg tried to cross over the other. She instinctively reached out to catch herself, accidentally throwing you into the ground. You landed with a hard thud, and for a few moments, saw the princess coming down toward you. Her chest hammered you as she flopped onto the ground. The soft dress pressed you into the ground, and you could feel the wobbling as you were smushed to her. You tried to squirm, but her weight kept you planted against her breast.
She stood up, and Dorothea had to suppress a laugh when she saw your flat body hugging Edelgard’s left breast. “Well, I think round one didn’t go so well.”
What happens next?
1) Edelgard is determined to do this correctly. She tries again, and it goes much better.
2) Edelgard is frustrated, and wants to try something else.
3) Edelgard has had enough for today, and goes back to her room, accidentally causing a stir wearing her dress. Your still smushed to her.
