Sun shone through the blinds, and Naruto groaned, silently cursing the sun. Why did it have to be so bright, he wanted to sleep... He groaned, this was not a morning he was willing to cooperate with, sweat running down his brow. He buried himself further under his covers, trying to hide himself. If he was gonna have to get out, then he was gonna have to be taken kicking and screaming.
*BAM BAM BAM!* "NARUTO!" He twisted under his covers, trying to hid further. Speak of the devil... *BAM BAM CRASH!* He shuddered as he heard his door go flying, seeing shrapnel embedding itself in his wall. "NARUTO! WHERE ARE YOU!" He heard Sakura shouting, trying to remain as still as possible. This was not a day where he felt like moving. He felt sweaty and somewhat sluggish, but hopefully she wouldn't notice, right? Right?
He felt a strong hand grab the tip of his blanket, making him realize, he's probably screwed, his eyes shut tight, as he felt her hand grab him by his t-shirt, lifting him up by his collar while he clutched onto his trusty pillow like some kind of safety blanket, hanging there only in "THERE YOU ARE! YOU- are you alright?" He blinked, eyes straining through the blinding glare to see Sakura's concerned face, any rage seemingly gone.
Sakura blinked, looking at his disheveled appearance, well, more so than usual. His spiky hair was absolutely a mess, since he didn't have his headband, although since he cut it it was a bit more tame, and he seemed a little bit paler than normal. But she placed her hand on his forehead, and he didn't seem to have a fever. Which means he's mostly healthy, so back to the reason she was here initially. "You're LATE! We've been waiting for an hour for you, and that's even after waiting for Kakashi-sensei!"
Naruto grumbled, "But I'm not feeling too good..." Which was true, although he never got sick to begin with. Which was really weird.. perhaps some ramen might help.
"You're fine. Be there at the training field. ASAP" Sakura said, vein pulsing on her forehead, as she headed out, before pausing at his front door. "Er... sorry about your front door..." She muttered, rubbing her head somewhat sheepishly as she exited, although she smiled mischievously, leaving with a parting, "After all, a dignified kage is at least fashionably late."
Naruto grunted. The smart quips was supposed to be his thing... getting up to get dressed, and after a long fight with some ramen noodles, the souls of which he devoured mercilessly, he finally made it to old Training Ground 7, his team waiting there as usual. "Sorry for the wait..." He muttered, still feeling off.
