As Penny walked around the Business District of Valentine, a group of flyers in her hand, she was looking to relax from her talk with Ronnie while also trying to spread the word about their bakery. While Penny was continuing to plaster the flyers to the walls around her, she was still somewhat mad at Ronnie, but she knew that even though she could be a bit frustrating to deal with, that at least she was trying to actually run the bakery.
After a while of walking though, Penny ran out of posters, but before she thought of going back to the bakery, she was stopped by someone, saying to her "Hey, you wouldn't have happened to be the one who opened the bakery on Main Street, are you?"
"Yeah, I opened it, though it was the idea of a friend of mine. Why do you ask?"
Penny quickly turned around to look at the woman, and she saw that she was a rather short woman with pink hair and a ponytail, and while she was somewhat chubby around her midsection and breasts, the rest of her body looked thin and lithe. She also noticed that the woman was wearing some sort of fancy dress, though it seemed to be a bit tight around the stomach.
After a bit, the woman finally responded to Penny, saying to the woman "Well my name is Momoko Terumi, and I am a cousin to the heir of Yeng, Tetsuko. Anyway, I need to stay here for a year, since I need to take a break from the hardships at home, and I need a place to stay."
"And this has to do with my bakery because?" While Penny was confused on why this stranger was talking to her, she had heard about Yeng in the news before, and how they were some sort of famous company. Whatever the company did though, Penny was unsure of, though she thought that maybe she could ask this woman before she left her.
"Well, it's just that I saw that your building was rather spacious, so I thought to ask you if I could live there for the year. You wouldn't need to worry about the costs of me living there, and in fact I may even help you if there's any problem to the bakery, since my relations with Yeng have made me rather rich."
"Well, that is rather sweet, but most of that space is storage. We actually live across the street from the bakery, and while we do have a guest room, it's rather small." As Penny said these words, her stomach growled a bit, and while she was beginning to get a bit hungry, she wanted to finish her talk with this Yeng person before leaving for something to eat.
Surprisingly for Penny though, Momoko's stomach also growled, and as Momoko rubbed her chubby gut for a bit, she said to Penny "Perhaps we should continue talking after we get lunch? I've been here since yesterday, and there is a place near here that serves an amazing burger. I'll pay."
After thinking for a bit, Penny thought for a bit before agreeing to go with Momoko, if only to get something to eat for a bit. As Momoko led Penny to the restaurant that served her, a small restaurant known as Cupid's Diner, the two placed their orders, with Penny ordering a simple cheeseburger with all the toppings, Penny ordered three of the same, along with two large fries.
After the food arrived, the two continued to talk. Eventually...
