Go Valentine Villains!

by: Bobo the Hobo Author IconMail Icon
A High School Setting is as fresh as one makes it, so they say in storytelling.

Here are some of the current goings-on, taken straight from the pages of the Valentine Vizier...

FOOTBALL FUMBLE—

The Valentine Villains, a dream team of football if there ever was one, has recently lost its head coach!

Coach Bradford was caught having an extramarital affair with secretary Sloane after hours in the ladies' bathroom, and has been cut from the team, so to speak. Coach Bradford's replacement, Assistant Coach Whey, has been signed on full-time as their replacement. The issue is that Coach Whey has had a long history of "mollycoddling" the boys. He hasn't been very strict on them in the past, and that might come to bite him in the butt when it comes to disciplining them now.

Quarterback Tommy Williams has had a long history of bucking authority, even from Coach Bradford. Only time will tell how he takes to Whey's "different" style of coaching. Defensive Lineman Trip Lawson has had a good repertoire with Asst. Coach Whey, and has gone on record saying that he "looks forward" to working with him. Preston Durham, the offensive lineman, has just come back from academic suspension following Bradford's relieving, but has a history of rebellious behavior that has landed him in a lot of hot water in the past.

Will Coach Whey be able to whip our boys be in fighting shape come football season?

POM POM POWER STRUGGLE—

It is with a heavy heart that the Valentine Valkyries say goodbye to their former captain, Nicole Peters.

Peters led the Varsity Squad for an unprecedented four years, following her surprising ascendance to captainship in her Freshman year. With the recent termination of Reese Poplar, due to illicit out of school activities, two empty seats on the Cheer Squad and being without an official captain are two strikes against an already challenged team.

Among the candidates for captain are Regina LeBlanc, Peters' official co-captain and long-time cheerleader, Valerie Marino, voted Queen of the Valentine High School Junior Prom last year, and Shelby Morris. All were confidants and close advisers of Peters, and the competition among them has been reportedly "literally fierce." Infighting among them has been reported, and fans say it has noticeably affected performance of the squad.

Will our girls be able to pull together and play nice, or will sabotage be afoot?
