"Are you sure you want to do this, your majesty?" Alphys asked timidly.
"Of course I am," said Asgore, "And you don't have to call me that anymore. I'm not who I ones was. Just call me Asgore from now on."
"Whatever you say, your maje- I mean Asgore," she said, tapping the needle that contained glowing, yellow liquid.
Asgore watched the little bubbles running to the top, and Alphys squeezing the last bit of air out, stopping when a small squirt erupted out of the needle's razor-sharp point.
Asgore had to admit that he was a little unsure himself if this was a good idea, but what other choice did he have? A few months earlier he got back with his one true love, his ex-wife Toriel.
Things were like old times between the two of them (except for the fact that they were aboveground now, and they, besides there new adopted human child, were missing an offspring): nuzzling, calling each other sickeningly sweet things, him tasting and complimenting her homemade pies.
Yes, things were back to normal...except for the sex.
Even though monsters were blessed with longer lives than humans, Asgore had to admit that age was catching up to him, for his manhood wasn't working like it should.
He knew that there was more to a relationship than sex; you needed devotion, sympathy, love, but Asgore felt that without sex his relationship would be incomplete.
He also wanted to try again, to sire another child, for he believed that doing so would not only mend scars but make it completely disappear.
He tried different tactics to get his penis to go erect, even using the supplement called viagra that humans consumed to get him aroused, but it didn't work. He guessed things like that didn't work on monsters.
Anyway, out of options, he decided to resort to drastic measures: he consulted his former royal scientist for help.
Asgore was beginning to regret that decision as he laid pantsless on this medical bed, his legs wide open, his ball and flaccid pink member exposed for the world to see.
"You know," said Alphys, "The last time I injected liquid Determination into anything, they ended up as..."
"Abominations?" Asgore offered.
"I was going to say Amalgamates," said Alphys.
Asgore grunted in agreement. "Alright then," he said, "Just get this over with. It's kinda cold in your lab, and I want to pull up my pants soon."
With a sigh, Alphys moved in with her needle, and she blushed as she took his bullocks in her paw. She was glad that she was wearing gloves.
"Hang on. T-this might sting a little," she said.
And it did. Asgore bleated when he felt the piece of iron penetrating his flesh, but he bit his lip and remained motionless, allowing Alphys to inject the liquid fully.
Asgore felt a strange surge, like a fit of adrenaline flow through his body, and he felt the sensation of blood flowing to his penis, quickly making it erect.
"So, this is was Determination feels like," he though, smiling
Alphys averted her eyes, blushing beet-red. "Well, now that we know that it works," she said, "I guess that you should go."
"Indeed I will," said Asgore, sounding very merry, pulling up his pants. "I thank you very much."
"Oh, don't mention," said Alphys, "I'm more than happy to help you with your...dysfunctions."
Asgore felt as if he was walking on air as he walked down the street back to his home.
