Chapter #3

The School Bus

    by: Unknown
You had almost completely forgotten that you had school today, so you gathered up your small amount of belongings and headed out the door. All you carried was a tiny little Ziploc bag, which held a pencil, eraser, and a pen. It pretty much served as your makeshift backpack, though it was still a pretty heavy load to carry around. You made it work though.

The bus stop wasn’t very far away, only two blocks. You trekked through the grass beside the sidewalk, wanting to avoid as many people as you possibly could. It made your journey a little more difficult, but it was better than being crushed flat under someone’s shoe, that was for sure.

Soon, the bus stop was within your sight. A small group of students were already there, waiting patiently for the bus to arrive. Most of them were on their phones, which just reminded you how sad you were that you were too small to have a phone of your own. You approached the group of students and stood beside them, a few feet away just to give yourself a bit of space.

To your surprise, you didn’t see Talia anywhere, so you assumed she was probably taking a sick day at home. This scared you a little, as Talia was your guardian angel, but you had made it through school days without her before. Your thoughts wandered to Talia, and a goofy smile spread on your face as you pictured her cute smile.

You were ripped back to reality by a deafening “stomping sound”, and the whole ground seemed to shake. You turned around to find your small bag of supplies trapped under a thick black boot. Glancing up, it appeared the some goth girl had arrived at the bus stop, and hadn’t noticed either you or your tiny pack down on the ground.

The bus pulled up to the stop, and the students began piling in. The goth girl stepped off of your pack, and you dodged her boot as it came back down. Your eraser was smushed, and the pencil and pen were snapped in two. Groaning, you abandoned the bag and raced to the curb, leaping and landing on the first step of the bus.

Dodging a few more stomping feet, you made it to the first seat of the bus, which was almost always available. You scaled the metal leg as you had done hundreds of times before, and flipped up onto the vacant seat. You took a moment to breathe a sigh of relaxation, catching your breath. The bus began to close its doors.

“WAIT FOR ME!!!” A distinctly feminine voice cried out, and you instantly recognized it as your living girlfriend, Talia. Talia dashed down the sidewalk and up the steps onto the bus. She looked frantically for a spot to sit, and her eyes rested on the front seat. However, her eyes rested on the front seat, and not on its tiny occupant.

Talia took her backpack off and tossed it onto the seat, where it landed beside you and took up the half closest to the window. She then turned around and began to sit on the seat. As her huge, leggings clad ass began to descend onto you, you were paralyzed with fear. Glancing to your left, you saw the empty aisle of the bus. To your right was Talia’s backpack, which was slightly open. You could also fall down in front of you, onto the ground. All you knew was that you had to make a decision, and fast.
