Planet girl is go

2025

When she arrived, the people of earth were excited at her arrival, for they thought Oga was just another planet sized object to be studied and welcomed into scientific literature. The fact that she was shaped so similarly to a human woman attracted even more attention from the public.

2029

Then she crashed into Pluto, destroying the dwarf planet entirely. It was seen as a tragedy to lose both the new Oga and the familiar Pluto to a collision. Pluto’s moons are expected to fly out of their orbits. Other than that, no one thought it was anything other than an unfortunate coincidence.

2039

Then Oga reformed, this time much bigger but still the exact same shape as when she was first observed by Earth. Size calculations suspect Oga has taken the mass of both Pluto and its moons onto itself. Then it immediately made its way to Neptune, attracting even more eyes from Earth.

2052

Oga crashed into Neptune’s largest moon, Triton. It was bigger than Pluto so it was of similar size to Oga, so they were both obliterated in a repeat of Pluto’s destruction. This time, the people of Earth watched the debris closely to see if Oga would reform again.

2060

And indeed, she did. This time, reforming much faster. Then she made way and crashed into another moon of Neptune. Now with more mass, the destruction was much less total on Oga’s side, allowing her to crash into two more moons before she was completely destroyed. Scientists on Earth figured out that whatever Oga was, she was intent on colliding with every rocky body in the Solar system and adding their mass to her.

2068

Oga has reformed again, restarting debate on how to deal with this planetary threat. Oga is now even bigger and is well on her way to absorbing the rest of Neptune’s moons. At her current rate of growth, by the time she reaches earth, she won’t even be destroyed by the collision. Humanity has accepted that this thing will destroy the Earth eventually and

2075

As predicted, Oga has absorbed all of Neptune’s moons and has only increased the rate of growth per planetary collision. She’s now on course to Saturn, the next closest planet as Uranus was on the opposite side of the solar system, and is expected to absorb its moons as well and potentially its rings.

2083

She’s reached Saturn, and has started eating all its moons. Humanity is divided on evacuating Earth or destroying Oga. Those in favor of evacuation have offered no destination and those favoring destruction haven’t offered a weapon capable of it. As such, neither has gained much ground other than research funds.

2084

Another observation of Oga has been logged. Oga has eaten half of Saturn’s moons by now, but one she has avoided destroying, Cassini. In fact, she’s added it to her orbit. Apparently, it seems she’s using Cassini’s ice jets to start forming a ring around her. Observers have observed delighted reactions upon the success of forming her first ring, and she seems to by attempting to form other rings around her, sparing some more of Saturn’s moons. This has opened a new solution in communication with Oga, since how she has demonstrated intelligence. Though how they can communicate with the living planet is still unknown.

2085

Oga has either consumed or taken all of Saturn’s moons. She now has two sets of rings. One around her waist like a skirt and one around her head like the rim of a hat. With Jupiter on the opposite side of the sun, she now makes her way to Mars, the next closest planet. Earth has sent radio signals, probes, and numerous other things that they hoped would establish communications. Generation ships have started being made worldwide.

2088

Oga has reached Mars. However, despite attaining the mass of a dwarf planet and the moons of two gas giants, Oga is still less than half the size of Mars. Oga’s collision with Mars has near completely obliterated the red planet, and obliterated Oga, though she’s expected to retain her form with some more red material. However, the size difference between her and Mars has estimates of her reformation to happen over a decade, giving Earth that much time to prepare for her arrival.

2094

As predicted, Oga has finished reforming and is now roughly a sixth of the size of earth. She waited an extra year for her rings to reform before continuing making her way to Earth.

2095

Whatever Generation ships are packed with as many people and resources as possible and take flight as Oga will soon arrive to Earth. Some make course to the remaining planets and moons in the solar system, but some of the bolder ships remain near Earth for when Oga arrives.

And this is how our story begins, when…
