The TV is showing a marathon of that new show you hadn't had a chance to watch yet. You settle in, and soon get sucked in to the story. Totally engrossed, you absentmindedly set your snacks aside; the bag of chips next to you on the couch cushion, the jar of dip on the arm of the couch.
Just as the episode is getting good, an extremely loud commercial suddenly starts blaring, startling you. You jerk back on the couch, and as you do your arm catches on the dip. It hits you mid-chest, and explodes all down your shirt and jeans.
Annoyed, you nevertheless head back downstairs, strip out of your dirty clothes, and dump them with the rest in the to-be-washed pile.
It only occurs to you after you've already dropped the clothes that all of the rest of your clothes were in that pile, and are now probably also covered in dip.
Well that's just great. Standing there in just your boxers and sister's socks, you realize that you'll have to borrow something from your family's clean clothes until you have a chance to wash yours.
There are three options that really stand out to you:
Your mother's favorite muumuu dress. She had bought it several years ago when she was significantly heavier than she was now, almost eighty pounds. As she had lost the weight, it had gotten stuffed into the back of her closet, and had only been pulled out recently since your mom had started gaining weight again.
Janet has a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt that she wears around her college dorm. While this will probably be a bit tight on you, it is the best fitting of your options.
Briana has a pink sundress that might fit you as a shirt. You're already wearing her socks, it might be a laugh to wear her dress too.
Besides, whatever you decide, your family isn't due back for nearly two hours, plenty of time for you to wash your clothes and change back before they get home.
