After finishing loading one of many piles of laundry you would be doing most of the day you made your way to the kitchen. You'd like to make yourself a snack, you are feeling slightly more hungry than usual, but you decide to distract yourself with some youtube videos as you did some dishes. You slowly chuckled to some funny video game commentary as you scrubbed the dishes and glasses in the cold and soapy water. Unfortunately you were enjoy the video so much you didn't notice you'd washed all the dishes (That's good) and your hands were and ice cold and wrinkly mess (That's not as good). You rub your hands together for warmth but it wasn't enough, you could actually feel yourself shivering, oddly enough some of it coming from your perfectly warm legs (That were slowly plumping up thanks to the magic in your mom's socks). "I should turn up the heat." You said to yourself, but before you could do that the dryer went off. "Ugh, but duty calls. On the bright side I guess folding warm cloths will be nice on my hands before it gets boring."
So being the dutiful son you are, you switch the laundry finally putting your stuff in to wash and the clothes of the ladies of the house in to dry. You take the girl's clothes to fold. You grumble to yourself, "I know that they outnumber me 3 to 1 but I swear they have 10 times the laundry I do." You sit in the living room with the laundry, put on another youtube video on your tablet and begin to fold away.
While your still cold hands felt better folding the nicely warm laundry you still feel like you were shivering. As you fold you came upon a pair of purple knitted gloves. You recognize it as either Briana or Janet's since last Christmas you three had each gotten a pair of hand made gloves from your aunt. You wish you had yours at the moment but they were somewhere buried in your room. But you think to yourself that even though the gloves were one of your sister's, they would stretch around your slightly bigger hands. So without a second thought you put the purple gloves on your shivering hands and went back to folding.
If you were paying close attention you would have noticed that a minute after you put on the gloves not only were your hands no longer wrinkly but they were no longer yours. You had skinnier fingers and wrists as the magic laundry powder did it's work. As you folded you remembered that last person to wear the gloves.
