Making your way to the ruins was somehow the easy part. The hard part, you'd say, was the huge crushing weight laying you flat just seconds after navigating a treacherous series of hops, skips and jumps.
Yes, it was certainly hard, and you had plenty of chances to be as sure as you were, while being dragged along for a ride underneath one of a pair of dirt-laden, fast-moving rubber-soled pathfinders. You would have wondered who it was locomoting these instruments of exploration, but at the time you occupied your thoughts with a notion along the lines of "HOLY GO13-SMACKING, NASTY, EXPLODING, 13USINESS END OF A 13OOMSTICK DOES THIS HURT"
You may have lacked a certain adventurous curiosity, but the never-ending pain train that continued to scrape and bash you along the rocky ground was a higher caliber of troll and thought to investigate this small uneven lump underneath her foot. She paused to take a gander, squinting a bit at the misshapen, pulverized blob you had become before shrugging and pinching you between her two strongest fingers and flicking you off into the distance, smiling at the joy of resuming her adventure.
