You left Rachel alone in your room, wanting to get back to the party and feeling like an idiot after falling for her trick. While enjoying your time and being a good host, you watch her walk out a few minutes later, looking downtrodden and avoiding eye contact. The rest of the night goes on without a hitch, having casual conversation, getting a few drinks, and cleaning up after some people that just couldn't handle themselves. All in all, it was a damned good party.
The next day you took to rest, fighting off a hangover and cleaning up the rest of the evidence. A few people stayed behind to help, but ultimately left soon afterwards. Sunday went by without any special event.
The next morning, you wake up at your usual time, and get to work again at the usual time. You work in a warehouse, attached to a main office. You keep mostly to yourself, not really getting to know the people that work around you. Sometimes you regretted it, there were a few women you wish you took the chance to get to know.
They were:
Anna - a 20 something year old, dark skinned woman that was always pretty nice to you every time you talked. You've never gotten her age, or know anything about her personal life. Hell, you don't even know if shes single. You can't help but admit you've been kind of crushing on her, but since you know nothing about her, you never really tried to act on it.
Joi - a 28 year old woman of some kind of half Asian decent. Joi was a bit more open to everyone, not afraid to talk about her personal life. You don't remember much, something about having a cat and being a proud, single woman. She was pretty playful, always joking around and just being openly friendly.
Miranda - an early 30's, recently single woman. You tried to stay away from her, not because she was mean or anything, but just something about her intimidated you. She was very attractive, but after her fiance broke up with her, you stayed a bit farther away from her.
Now, the big question, when does it hit you?
