"I think I'll keep and eye on Jack and Mary just to know there safe and out of danger."
"Trish relax a little the kids are fine Mary with Jack." Tina said to compensate her thoughts "Just lay out in the sun just us girls getting a tan."
"Yeah, Trish", Barbara said. "And why'd you put on so much perfume? If I didn't know better, I'd say you were trying to cover-" Barbara suddenly smirked as you blushed a bit, your friend quickly figuring out your dilemma. "*sigh* Come on, let's go grab a drink."
"Wait, cover what?", Tina asked as the three of you walked away.
Trish, Tina, Barbara quickly made there way toward a small bar that was filled with a lot of single mothers as you and Tina sit down at a table Barbara went to get the drinks. "So what are you trying to cover?" Tina asked Trish openly "Nothing you know how Barbara jokes."
Barbara came back to her friends carrying three drinks "OK ladies drink up but be careful there really strong." as everyone sips there drink Trish could feel the alcohol hit her "Wow that is strong.".
A waiter came over to the table bringing shots the three grown ladies take turns enjoying themselves. Trish saw Mary and Jack in the crowd of people as they walked by "Girls it's the kids I'm gonna go see how there doing." Barbara was laughing at Tina who was considerably drunk "OK girl I'll babysit this one here."
Trish was glad to have such a good friend like Barbara as she ran over towards the kids. "Kids, wait up!", you call out as you run over to them.
"Huh? What is it Mom?", Jack asked.
"I want to join in on your fun the two of you are having.", you said.
"How come?", Mary asked, a bit of obvious annoyance in her voice.
"Because I think it'll be safer if you have someone looking after you two", you lied.
"Um, I think I'll will be alright mom", Jack said
"I'm sure you will be Jack", you said, "but I think it's best if we don't take any chances." Both of them groaned as you took them by the hand. "So, where do you kids want to go to first?", you ask.
"Why are you asking us, mom?", Jack asked.
"I'm just here to keep an eye out on you two", you said. "I promise I won't get in the way of your fun."
