"I've got an idea." Morgan giggled, pointing Liz's attention over to the elevators to one side of the mall.
The skunk gave Morgan a knowing look and laughed herself; what better place was there to let rip than an elevator, right?
The mall was indeed huge, and with as many floors as it had, the elevator ride was a fairly long one from top to bottom and then back up again.
Liz and Morgan hopped into an open elevator that wasn't totally crowded. The two girls played up their exhaustion and breathlessness. "Whew! Only just caught it!" Morgan said loudly to Liz, wiping her brow.
In the elevator with them was a wolf who looked quite a bit older than them. He smiled as they got on, he immediately had a very polite demeanour.
"Which floor are you girls going to?" He asked, his paw hovering over the buttons.
"Bottom floor." Liz grinned warmly, and he pressed 'G'.
"Me too, how fortunate!"
The two girls looked at each other, sharing a certain grin that meant they both knew this was their latest victim.
The elevator began to rattle away as it slowly made its journey downwards.
It was a fairly spacious elevator, as far as they went, but that didn't mean it wasn't just as cramped and enclosed. It ran down the middle of the mall, with glass walls so that you could look around the building as you descended.
The wolf began looking through his phone casually, resting against the wall that was on the opposing side to Morgan and Liz.
Morgan felt a light jab on her shoulder and looked to see that Liz had her hand behind her back, her finger outstretched and begging to be pulled.
Morgan tried to stifle her laughter as she reached down and gave it a tug, hearing a very very soft hissing sound for a couple of seconds coming from behind Liz. It was barely audible, and so quiet that only Morgan was able to hear.
After a few seconds, the smell had reached the fox, and she moved away from her gassy comrade as the thick, rather eggy aroma filled her nostrils.
The two girls stared at the wolf, and after a few more seconds they could tell the smell had reached him too. His nose flared, and he stopped for a second, wide-eyed as he started trying to work out where the smell was coming from.
Being as polite as he was, he simply ignored the smell, trying to subtly hold his paw over his nose until it passed, but Liz was not done yet.
There were a few more moments of silence as the fart smell dissipated away, but out of the silence came a sudden, abrupt blast of noise, sounding a little like an out-of-tune trombone.
Morgan once again had to force herself not to laugh out loud, Liz grinning over at her before the skunk started putting on her performance.
"Ew!" Liz pinched her nose.
The wolf looked up as soon as he heard the fart, his face filled with confusion, and then disgust as he got a whiff of the latest emission of Liz'.
"Morgan, was that you?" She was clearly acting, and Moran had to do her best to play along.
"Of course not! It was him!" She pointed at the wolf.
"Th-that wasn't me!"
"Well it wasn't either of us, and I don't see another fur in here!" Liz accused.
"Seriously! It wasn't me! I swear!" He began to get defensive.
"It's fine, just... Don't do it again, ok?" Morgan held back the laughter.
The wolf scowled at the girls and got back to his phone.
Liz and Morgan exchanged another look, and this time it Morgan's turn to show her finger to Liz.
The skunk was very surprised Morgan was offering to fart like this; lost in heat of the moment, she supposed.
Liz pulled the fox's finger, and immediately heard a little peeping fart from Morgan; it was pretty weak in comparison to how Liz's sounded, but still loud enough for the wolf to hear it again.
"You did it again!" Liz held her nose again.
"No I didn't! It's you two, knock it off!" He began to sound a little angry at the situation.
"Oh, please," Morgan started. "You know girls don't fart!"
He tutted angrily. "Whatever. That smells horrible, though, so please stop it." The wolf pulled his shirt up over his nose.
The girls were about to burst out into laughter, when...
