The year is 2025,the worlds resources have been stretched ever thinner and oil is in the shortest supply since 2019, tensions sky rocketed that year as the world mobilised for an all out war, the old Warsaw pact got back together as they warmed up to fight NATO. But a huge oil reserve was found deep below the middle east, and the tensions simmered away, for then. But a mere 6 years later and they were back at an all time high, each country no longer eager to fight, trying all they could to prevent the desperate border skirmishes from turning into an all out war. However during those 6 years 3 countries on particular were trying to to find ways around the violence, but all the attempts lead to one thing, super solider serums. America and Russia were the main advocates here, but a neutral country sprouted from the Warsaw pact, wanting nothing to do with the war, Croatia. 6 years.. 6 long years later the 3 countries are sat at a negotiation table in Croatia deciding the outcome, the fate of the research done.
Outside, the entirety of Ante Starcevic Square was cordoned off, special forces and armies from across the world stood side by side securing the square as a large convoy of 20 vehicles, some armoured, made its way into the square, stopping and stepping out were, Ivanka Trump, the new emergency President as her father was in hosptial, Russian Politician Natalia Pokloskaya, who was recently appointed ambassador of foreign affairs and relations and the President of Croatia herself Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović. The 3 greeted each other quickly and went inside. Some time passed as the 3 negotiated the terms and conditions of the project research. It was then eventually decided that it would be stored in a secret vault underneath a palace in Croatia, away from everyones knowledge, the data and research deemed to dangerous to ever be put into practice.
The 3 ended the talks on a high note and left the square, Kolinda remained, smiling to herself as it seemed peace was just around the corner, the next order of business was keeping the wealth of oil and the reserves equal for all. Or thats what she wanted it to seem like, now that the cameras were off and gone she could drop the facade, ever since she had heard of the research being done she had began conducting her own, her greatest scientists set about on replicating the work done already, but now it would all be so easy, easy to improve on the work already done. She ordered all the date down to the lab underneath the square and made her way down herself. It was all falling into place.
A few hours later Ivanka was on Air Force One heading back to the states. Talking to the Foreign Secretary she said, "I dont like Kolinda, she seemed disingenuine.. Something was off..". The secretary replied, "I think you're being paranoid madam, the talks went splendid and your popularity has surpassed even Obama, the overwhelming support of the peo--" He was cut off, "Did you replicate the research like I ordered?" She sternly asked, "Yes Ma'am, all of it was copied.." He replied, "Good.. Restart the research.." Ivanka said.
Next we head back to Natalia who, as always, seemed pleased with herself in the negotiations, she was under the impressions that everything went as smooth as butter, with no reasons to expect anything different. Natalia was headstrong, but new to politics, still not used to the life of it, making her appear innocent and easily manipulated, but nothing was further from the truth, she just couldnt quite read people. And soon she was on her way back to Russia as she arrived at the nearby heliport.
Kolinda was in the labs under the Square. Watching as her scientists worked on. Smiling as she looked around the test chamber she would soon be hooked up into.
