Nox resists and heads to the briefing room.

As Moonbounce stretched over the table to grab her armor, it occurred to her she was not in fact at the moment wearing anything to cover her nether regions, now laid fully on display for her superior behind. Blushed, she turned a shy glance around. But Nox had already turned his back and was heading out of the room. The notion made Moon both relieved and, slightly oddly, disappointed.

“I hope your sleep fostered vigil,” said the Sergeant exactly five minutes later in his office. “For tonight’s going to busy. There’s evidence of griffon gang activity near the cliffside. Smugglers of some sort, is my hunch. Also, we’ve received reports of possible kidnappings around the Eastern Gate. It may have something to do with the travelling circus that arrived there a couple of days ago.”

Moonbounce listened attentively, and when Nox ended his briefing with silence pregnant with a question, her decision was long made.
