A white hare steps up to challenge the great grizzly.
Something of a freak for his species, he stands just under 6 feet tall, though he doesn't have the weight to back it up, at least in comparison to the grizzly. He's lanky and spindly with long arms and legs, but beneath the thin upper body is a well-toned set of legs ending in the oversized feet so common to his species.
In the ring he's a no nonsense fighter looking for a knock out. In the past he's won with a submission here and there, but he really doesn't want to deal with the bear in a match of brute strength. If that's what it comes to, at half the height and under a third of the weight, the odds aren't good. But no matter how much padding a beast has, a hit to the head can make him go down.
It's a big risk, he knows he might not win and shudders at the possible consequences of failure. At the same time, he licks his lips at the possible reward. He shakes the thoughts of a beautiful, chained up bear at his mercy out of his head. Maybe he's getting ahead of himself.
