Paige and Dani made their way through the hallways proudly. This was their year. At long last, they were the top dogs of the school. They waved hello to their acquaintances as they passed, then finally found Maya and Jackie perched outside the art hallway.
"And then I said, that's the biggest-oh, hi, girls!" Jackie greeted her two approaching friends and embraced them one at a time, taking turns with her raven-haired counterpart. Both were looking as stunning as ever.
"How've you two been?" Dani asked after their hugs concluded.
"Y'know, getting loads of-"
"Jackie!" Maya cut the blonde off.
"Lots of BOYS!" She clarified.
Paige giggled. "Business as usual, it sounds like."
"Spot on there." Maya laughed.
"So you guys heard about the new girl?" Jackie asked her comrades.
"No. What grade?" Paige asked.
"Senior." Maya said.
Paige considered the news. It was always exciting to have a new girl on the grounds, and being a new arrival in the twilight of one's high school career can be especially hard. She was certain that she would at the very least cake contact, and more than likely befriend the latest addition to the graduating class.
"Speak of the devil. Here she is." Maya announced as the new girl came in the doors at the terminus of the hallway.
She was...
1. Erin, dark blonde long hair, 5'6", around 145 pounds. Thick, almost chubby. Very into academics, tennis, and supehero comics. Her personality could be described as bubbly, loud, and outspoken. She's pretty personable, and doesn't have any trouble making friends. While she is very much invested in tennis, the stress of being an academic perfectionist leads to its fair share of stress eating.
2. Rachel, black short hair, 5'9", slim at 120 pounds. She was easily one of the smartest at her old school, and has a great love for music, as an accomplished member of the orchestra. She's rather nice, but at the same time, witty and sarcastic, often using sarcasm as a line of defense. But given how much senior year matters in one's life, is Rachel strong enough to resist the allure of fatty comfort food to ease her anxiety?
3. Hannah, brown medium length hair, 5'10", slim but curvy in thee right places at 128 pounds. Smart, but doesn't take school quite as seriously as some of her peers. Very casual and laid back, but also very skilled in the sport of volleyball. She's recovered from an ACL tear last year, recommending her for a less than forward position on any team. Will her lessened participation be enough to keep the pounds off.
