Lucy walked over to Scarlet and began explaining some good grappling moves to her. You listened in too. Even though you were too small to reliably do some of those moves, you wanted to listen in anyway. Then, suddenly, a wave of pink energy surged across the house. It was a psychic shockwave! You hadn't seen one of these in years! Psychic shockwaves were a rare occurrence that happened when too many people used psychic powers at once. They caused strange things to happen.
The shockwave hit you and Lucy hard. Lucy was stunned, but held firm. She grunted in pain and held her temples. The shockwave had given her a headache. You were knocked off your feet. You screamed and fell on your face. The shockwave had hit you right in the ass and it felt like someone had just given you a spanking. You rubbed your aching buttocks and got back to your feet. Scarlet was hit hardest by the shockwave. Instead of hitting her, her body somehow absorbed much of the energy. She screamed out in pain, like her body was on fire for a few seconds as pink energy rushed into her mostly naked body. Scarlet fell to her knees, panting.
"Are you all right?" You asked.
"I think so. What... What the hell just happened?" Scarlet said.
"Ooh... It was a psychic shockwave. Happens every couple years, like an earthquake but for psychics." Lucy said.
Scarlet then suddenly screamed and held her head. The shockwave had awakened her own latent psychic powers!
"Oh! Oh my god! I... I feel like I can see forever! I can see forever!" Scarlet screamed.
"Scarlet? Scarlet?" You said, growing more concerned.
Scarlet laughed.
"This... this is great! Wow!" Scarlet said, getting back to her feet.
"Scarlet, you're scaring me..." You said.
Lucy put on a concerned look too.
"Brandon! Brandon's sister! I don't know what happened, but I feel great! It's like... it's like there was a sleeping dragon in my brain that I didn't know about, and that shockwave thing woke it up! Oh man, I feel great!" Scarlet said, smiling.
