Charlotte didn't waste any time in deciding that she wanted to bring Naomi in on her little secret. She produced her phone and brought up the app, before sliding her phone in front of Naomi. "What would you say if I said this app could swap people's heads around?" Charlotte grinned, speaking quietly.
Naomi looked at Charlotte gone out, then glanced back down to the phone. "I'd say you're bonkers." Naomi's inevitable answer followed.
"Really?" Charlotte said with a smug grin, as she retrieved her phone and proceeded to casually scan the other employees in the room, one at a time. "Then watch this!" she said, gesturing over to Luke. Naomi let out a gasp when he saw Luke's head suddenly sinking down into his body, and not far away... Jodie's head did the same thing. Seconds later their heads emerged... atop each other's bodies. And neither of them were aware of anything.
"Woah!!" Naomi reacted in a surprised way. Being Japanese, she was only too aware of the whole body swapping genre, but this was real life, and she'd just seen two of her co-workers switch heads.
"Now what do you say?" Charlotte chuckled quietly, awaiting Naomi's response.
"That's amazing! How can it do it?" Naomi inquired.
Charlotte shrugged and frowned at the same time. "How should I know? All I know is that it works, that's enough for me." As tempted as she then was to leave Luke and Jodie in their swapped state, she fiddled with her app again and swapped them back. It had only been a demonstration after all. She decided not to tell Naomi about the bus full of people she had swapped just before arriving at work.
"I can't believe it works." Naomi gasped again.
"I'm glad you're impressed. Now what do you say we have some fun with it?" Charlotte asked Naomi, never losing her toothy grin.
Naomi wasn't as enthusiatic. "Um... what do you mean?" she asked Charlotte.
"I mean have some FUN!" Charlotte said again in a subdued tone, as she glanced across the table at Alexa, her expression changing into a slight scowl. But her grin returned moments later when she saw Liam's head appear on the Latina's shapely body. "Maybe Liam will be more popular now? Though somehow I doubt it" Charlotte chuckled. She then slipped her phone back into her pocket, having "killed two birds with one stone".
Naomi looked across at Alexa's pretty head, now affixed to Liam's male body, and she was unsure what to say.
"So, are you onboard?" Charlotte asked Naomi again.
Naomi thought she'd better agree to Charlotte's 'invitation', incase she decided to turn the app on her too.
