Texas's foot lashed out behind her and kicked the rhino hard, her heel digging deeply into the rhino's belly. The large girl instantly squealed and let go, doubling over with pain and starting to reach for the gun on her hip. However, with the speed of a snake, Texas scooped up the gun and fired a single shot, riccocheting off a filing cabinet, a ceiling light and the metal hinge of a door frame, before colliding with the rhino's gun, blasting it out of her hands.
"Alright, nobody move!" The sheriff said, pointing her gun directly at Vivian so that her thug wouldn't attack. There was silence as the mayor raised her hands, glaring at the sheriff, then smirked a little.
"I'm curious, Tex. Did you have a plan from this point on, or do you just do things sporadically as they pop into your inferior weasel brain?"
