Carl was about to leave the room, when he suddenly shrunk to 3 inches, right in front of his mother. However, because he became so small, his mother didn't know where he was.
"Carl? Where did you go?" His mother took a couple of steps, making the ground tremble for Carl. His mother, then started giggling. "I'll have to ask how he did that magic trick" she said and left the room. Carl ran out the door and to the stairs. He then decided to wait, so he could get one of his family member's attention. Twenty minutes passed until they finally got home.
"Where's Carl?" Claire asked.
"Probably in his room" their mom said. Grace decided to check. Unfortunately, she tripped on the stairs, catching Carl in her hair. She got up and went to his room. When he wasn't there, she checked Claire's room. Disappointed, she sat down on Claire's bed. Carl, who was struggling to get out of her hair, finally fell next to her.
