Stay on the boot

You decided the best choice for both of you was to stay still on this spot, you didn't have to take risks. After all you needed was to leave the desert alive, and for now you had to wait the girl to finish what she was doing.
Your mother nodded and you both sat, a leg on each side of the top of her boot, and holding it so they don't fall when she'll start to walk again.
