Following the trail left by her target Vera found a river. It would be a natural spot to find a big enough open space to land a ship especially if the landing gear was long enough to simply park over the water, and sure enough exploring not much further she spies a camp in the distance. Whether her target is truly there or not it wouldn't be wise for Vera to just stroll on up in the open she would have two sneak up unseen and scout it out before making a real move leaving Vera with two options.
Her best bet would be to cut through the super dense animal infested viney foliage. No one could possibly see her coming but it would also be rather hellish since it would be tough going to clamber through and even hiking this far on this humid planet has got her rather sweaty already the field suit isn't much help either it's meant to be protective but in keeping things out it also keeps much of her sweat in. Bounty hunters don't get famous showing up all smelly then again bounty hunters don't get famous being panies about hard work either.
The alternative would be to try and swim up. Going with the current and using a few tricks she's picked up she shouldn't be too noticeable but if she is somehow spotted she'd be a bit of a sitting duck, but the cool water would be a lot more comfortable that the humid air, and it's not like the water is actually some sort of acid or that tentacled groper fish are a thing here like they are on hentius 8... right?(probably wrong)
