A deafening creak was the only warning.
Apollo felt the impossible weight pinning him down make a sudden shift, its mass moving all around him.
And then he left the ground behind.
He gave a startled yell, clutching desperately at his silky surroundings. Athena's leggings were the only thing keeping him from falling to his doom on the floor far below. She'd gotten to her feet, but rather than being left on the chair, free of her crushing weight, Apollo had been carried up into the air along with her. Had he really been wedged in that tightly?
He watched, his heartrate running wild, as his gigantic co-worker's thighs shifted about on both his sides. Athena was walking somewhere, but Apollo was in no mood to guess at where.
"Pollyyy?" Trucy's voice rang out.
No response. Athena frowned, glancing around the room. The pair had begun their search for Apollo in the smaller office adjacent to the main room. There was no sign of him here.
Every time Athena stopped and resumed moving, Apollo felt a staggering lurch all around him. Still clinging to the leggings holding him in place, he began to desperately consider his options. He couldn't maintain a grip forever, and the fabric could let him drop free any time.
