As your brain keeps getting filled with such thoughts, you spend a few minutes remembering how was your relationship with your sister and being consumed by guilt in the process. You remembered how you argued with her, how you ignored her wise comments and advice, how you accused her with your mom when she did something wrong, how you didn't allow her to pick whatever she wanted on tv or for dinner, how you thought she was a nuisance and such a dumb girl with her supernatural crap...
How could you be so wrong? It was clear to you now your sister was perfect, not only she was the most beautiful being you have ever seen but also so smart and charismatic and strong and wise, you realized you couldn't just wait until she came back to apologize for your previous wrong ways, you needed to start making it up to her now.
You figured out you could start with your chores and at the same time tackle hers too, she didn't have as many chores as you but someone as perfect as your big sister deserved to have free time to do as she wished, not waste it on menial stuff like chores. You tackled your chores with energy and also took care of the dishes, bathrooms and laundry, usually Ashley's tasks around the house. As you cleaned you felt bad again, how could you let this happen? Someone like your sister should never clean anything ever again, she shouldn't have to lift a finger to live in a pristine house. You resolved to talk with her and take care of that once she was back
You finished with enough time so you moved on to her room, after all you made a bit of a mess there now that you remembered the book falling, plus you could see if maybe she needed to do some more laundry. You quickly went there and noticed the room was still a mess so started straightening it up, making her bed, putting everything into place and getting a load of her laundry done. As you organized her clothes and shoes you couldn't help but slow down a bit to appreciate your sister's impeccable fashion sense, and as you moved around her things you treated everything with more care than usual, those were your sister's possessions and they deserved the upmost care and respect.
Once you were done you remembered there was a ring too and blushed as you saw it in your hand. She didn't give you permission to do that! you needed to apologize to her and let her punish you as she saw fit. You returned the ring to where it was, and felt a strange pain in your head.
With everything done, you just laid down worrying about the sudden headache and waited for your family to come back
