I wanted to add a few others. Here are a few options you may like.

Option 1: Disney's The Thirteenth Year. Cody, a teenager is slowly transforming into a merman, except I feel at times it was too brief.

Option 2: Touchstone's Splash. Madison's timing was spot on, in the bathroom for example. What would happen if she lasted longer in her mermaid form.
