You knew that if Dad was going to be acting like a five-year old (boy or girl it didn't matter) he couldn't go to his job in the morning. People would notice and he would get fired or at least sent to a hospital. Five-year old obviously couldn't do Dad's job. You thought about going to Dad's job and fixing things. But you couldn't control everyone and what about the customers and the newly hired, no matter how powerful you were that was still above your abilities. You considered returned Dad to normal so he could earn money, but you liked him this way. You liked that big strong Dad was now living the life of a little girl and that he thought it was perfectly normal. You wished you could send him to kindergarten.
But if Dad couldn't earn money, you needed money to be coming to the house from somewhere. In Dad's state, someone had to take care of him, that was going to be Mom. So you decided to 'talk' to the neighbors. You met with all the neighbors that you didn't like for some reason and instructed them to give your family money every week, this made up for Dad's salary.
When you got home, your Mom was waiting for you. She wanted to know where you had been. It was late. You obviously couldn't tell her, but more importantly, why should you be responsible for telling her anything you did. You were in charge now. You were even supporting the family with the money you brought in through the changes in the minds of your neighbors (some of whom had changed in other ways too.) You decided to reverse the rolls of you and your mother in the family. You put into Ellen's head that she would never ask you where you were or where you were going. On the contrary, Ellen would have to tell you everything she did and who she was with. You even put into her head that she had a 9:30 curfew. Then on a whim, you told Ellen's mind that from now on when they were alone that she will call you 'Mommy' and you would call her Ellen...no better you would call her Ellibear. You also decided that people Ellen's age shouldn't be having sex (she was a mother, she was just too old) so she wouldn't think about anything like that anymore.
