Maggy and Mom do what parents do, they wait for Doug to get home from his date. While waiting, it gets pretty late and while watching TV with the lights dimmed, Maggy puts her arm around Ellen. Soon they were kissing.
"Honey," Ellen said. "Let's go upstairs." Ellen didn't have to ask Maggy twice and so Maggy took Ellen's hand and led her upstairs. But when they got there, Maggy discovered that she didn't have any condoms left. They were in their forties and didn't want to have any more children at this stage. At this rate, all the kids should be out on their own in five years and they were looking forward to it. Since no condom was available, not that Maggy could use it anyway, the two just kissed and held each other. Ellen decided to renew her prescription for birth control pills.
The next day, Ellen sent Laura to pick up the prescription. Laura used her mental influence with the pharmacist to make sure that he put testosterone pills into Ellen's birth control prescription. When Laura returned with a six month supply, Laura had a talk with Ellen suggesting that she work out some more. Laura didn't want to use her influence unless she had to though. Luckily, Ellen agreed. Laura did influence Ellen in one way, she had Laura work a lot on her upper body and gave her the desire to try the highest weights she could handle.
